Dr. Rizaldy Villegas is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, and Internal Medicine. He completed his Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Villegas completed his Fellowship in Cardiology and Internal Medicine Residency at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center and Carl T. Hayden Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, after earning his Doctorate of Medicine from George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC. He received his undergraduate degree with high honors from the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Villegas is the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Casa Grande Regional Medical Center. He has been involved in several research programs involving the Human Subject Protection Training, and Sub-Investigator COOL RCN, COOL MI.
Hospital privileges include Banner Casa Grande Regional Hospital, Chandler Regional Medical Center, Banner Desert Medical Center, and Mercy Gilbert Hospitals. Dr. Villegas works closely in the East Valley and Casa Grande communities on hospital committees supporting continued improvements in patient care and outcomes.
Married for 25 years, Dr. Villegas has 4 children with whom he enjoys family activities such as movies, sports, and family vacations.
Dr. Villegas has attained Fellowship status with both the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions.
